THE MATTER POINT

Alpaca, an exceptional wool.

Alpaca wool has something to seduce lovers of natural fibers. Its very high warmth index contrasts with its incredible lightness. Considered one of the most durable natural fibers, it is highly valued for its great softness, its waterproof and thermoregulating properties, and its ability to retain body heat. With its long, fluffy hair, alpaca is distinguished by the absence of lanolin, which makes this wool hypoallergenic and pleasant on even the most sensitive skin. Alpaca fleece has such a variety of colors that there are 365 of them!

The story of Midipy

The know-how of Pyrenean spinning.

In 1998, Midipy revived one of the largest spinning mills in the Pyrenees, perpetuating the tradition and expertise of Pyrenean spinning. The watchwords are quality and natural. The wools are carefully selected and guaranteed dye-free. The Midipy company also stands out with a range of leather goods handcrafted with the greatest care; craftsmanship that can be found in the refined plaid holders and labels that accompany their products. The plaids and blankets are made to order to avoid overproduction, with a view to responsible consumption.
