MATERIAL & MAINTENANCE

Matter

Apotheca has chosen a quality raw material by collaborating with flax growers from Hauts-de-France . You will instantly discover a washed linen with a tight weave offering you a soft and supple touch, the result of a stonewashed finish. With use, small fluff may appear on your washed linen product; after a few washes, this will disappear.

Interview

• Machine wash at 30°
• Tumble dry at low temperature
• Wash inside out to preserve color, overlock and prevent lint
• Wash items of the same color together
• For a natural look and to retain the iconic crease of washed linen, do not iron and air dry
• For a neater look, iron the cushion cover while still damp with the iron set to a low temperature.

The material point

Washed linen, the timeless trend.

Linen is an ancestral plant fiber that has survived the centuries and established itself as the flagship material in household linen. It has conquered our beds and wardrobes thanks to its many advantages. Easy to care for, it is a breathable, very resistant fiber, which shrinks little or nothing when washed. It has the advantage of regulating temperature and humidity well; in other words, your washed linen item will retain heat in winter and offer you a pleasant feeling of freshness in summer. Flax cultivation is part of a naturally sustainable and eco-responsible agriculture: it requires very little water and no use of chemicals. Good to know: France is the world's leading producer of linen.

The story of Apotheca

Apotheca, the detail that makes the difference.

Apotheca is a French brand belonging to the Made in Paris label founded by Rodolphe Borgniet, a creative with a background in interior design. Since its creation in 2009, Apotheca has established itself in the luxury hospitality sector thanks to its incredibly elegant collections of candles and diffusers made in France. Today, the brand is expanding into textile decoration with a high-end collection and the same attention to detail. Our little exception: the weaving, dyeing, and manufacturing of Apotheca household linens are carried out in Eastern Europe.
